Casting in Resin

Learn the materials and methods of safe resin casting.
This course teaches you to cast in polyester resin, allowing time for guided exploration of various resin pigments and additives to achieve different looks. It also covers health and safety considerations and use of resin within a professionally ventilated indoor environment.
This course is a perfect add-on for attendees of the silicone mould making courses we offer, allowing participants to explore casting resin in moulds they have made on those classes. Pre-made moulds will also be available for anyone who wants to attend this as a stand-alone course.
The course is led by art technician Chris Campbell-Palmer who has a degree in Sculpture from Camberwell College of Arts and many years’ experience working with leading artists as a sculpture fabricator, gallery technician and film set mould maker.
